My favorite topic is the diversity that exists in the world, mainly in my country (Mexico) which is well known for its diversity of race, ethnicity,religious beliefs and other idelogies.As human beings, we must understand that each individual is unique in his own way, so I wanted to represent this with the variety of corn species (accordin to the myth of the creation of Popol Vuh, humankind was created from this plant).
I use pigma micron set of 7 (.005/.01/.02/.03/.04/.05/.08) & Brushpen (darker areas) on paper academy.

This artwork was done in the car on the high speed, we were driving with my family from Cappadocia in Turkey towards Kash and I was so impressed by the landscapes and the beauty of the sunsets that I couldn't but draw on my way!
My favourites - are my family, because I'm happy just being with them everywhere and at any time.

This piece was part of a series of boxers I did during October last year, most of the other
illustrations are of famous boxers but this one is different, it's just someone inside the ring with the gear to practice, like many people do around the world.
As for technique I concentrated on using negative space so the illustration could breathe a bit more, staying away from unnecessary details in some places and letting the observer complete the shapes.

this one, for me, is very challenging-- to put some of my favorites in one piece.
but at the same time, i enjoyed it a lot using Sakura Products especially the Pigma Micron, Pigma Brush and Gelly Roll Pens.
About my concept, i love arts especially drawing. And my favorite is anime drawing. Most of my subjects are anime girls and fantasy or magical. Blue & black are my favorite colors. i love Dragons too. Coz i was born under that Chinese Zodiac.
My favorite hobbies aside from drawing anime are playing Badminton, playing Scrabble, reading fantasy books. Listening to music, watching animes and music videos on YouTube, posting artworks on Facebook and on Instagram are some of my favorite things to do also. I love rains too. And I love Barrio Fiestas (a local celebration we have here in the our country) where people are busy decorating colorful banderitas in the streets, busy cooking different dishes, and inviting friends to visit them.
All of these ideas were perfectly executed with the help of Sakura Products.

- Whilst going for a walk when on holiday in Worcester I saw this view. I took a picture and used this as my reference. Later in the day I sketched it out in pencil and then using micron pens 0.05,0.1,0.3 and 0.8 I applied the ink to an a3 bristol white paper. It now reminds me of a lovely couple of days I had with my fiancee in a very beautiful and typical british town.

This is a work that has been on my mind for a long time, that I want to draw a wilderness atmosphere with a tree house as its main object, imagining a tranquility of enjoying nature in the daytime amidst shady trees.
I did this work for about 1 week, I used sepia colored pigma micron, I really like ink media and I like something old and antique, so my reference is vintage style works like victorian, art deco, art noveau and engrave, I love it because I like details, it's fun to work on complex details.

If you are chosen as a finalist, you will receive a direct message of Instagram with an identification code and a link to the special Application Form in / about December 2019. -
